A Free Consultation
First, let’s schedule a free consultation where we’ll meet virtually so that we can get to know one another. We can ask each other some questions, chat about your plans for the big day, and if you feel that I’m the right fit for you and your ceremony then we’ll move forward to the fun stuff. Yay!
The Meet-Cute
Every RomCom has that cute moment where our lovebirds first meet, and I want to hear about yours! We’ll chat for about an hour so that I can learn all about your ideas for the wedding and the overall vibe you’re hoping to create. I want to understand your beliefs, values, and some of the little things that make you... you. My goal is to infuse your unique personality, style, and sense of humor into the ceremony, and to give you and your guests the impression that we’ve been friends forever!
Your Romantic Comedy
My specialty is giving your ceremony that romantic comedy feel, which means a little touch of movie magic. I do this by meeting with each of you individually for about one hour to learn about your love story from each of your perspectives. Then, I write a short version of your story to share during the ceremony, weaving the moments of your special RomCom together based on what both of you has shared with me. It’s a lot of fun and provides me with what will become the heart of your ceremony.
The “Wedding Bells” Check-In
As your big day approaches, I will talk you through how to acquire your marriage license. If you would like to familiarize yourself with the process in advance, you can read about it here. You can also read your swoon-worthy ceremony in advance so that we can discuss any change you may want to make. After all, this is your ceremony!
The Big Day
On your wedding day, I will professionally officiate your marriage ceremony. I will arrive 30mins early to be available for you, connecting with your vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. After the ceremony, we sign the marriage license and I stick around for any photos you may want me in. Then, I quietly take my leave so that you can celebrate. After your wedding, I will file your marriage license and it’s happily ever after!
My goal is to take all the weight off of your shoulders so that you can focus on the fun stuff. Planning a wedding comes with plenty of stress, that’s why every time we meet we’re going to have a good time and share some laughs. After all, this is a celebration of love, and I’m here to help you focus on the most important part: getting married!
